The Properties tab displays the basic properties and stowage restrictions for the equipment type.
The following table displays the fields on the Properties tab grouped under the Basic and Stowage Restrictions areas.

Uses Accessories |
Select the check box if the equipment type supports accessories. |

Can be Out-Of-Gauge |
Select the check box if the equipment type can be loaded in a way that it is out-of-gauge. |

Cannot be Sealed |
Select the check box if the equipment type cannot be sealed. |
|
Has Wheels |
Select the check box if the equipment type has wheels, such as Chassis. If you are defining an equipment type for a bomb cart or cassette, then on the Chassis tab select the Bomb Cart or Cassette check box, accordingly. If you select the Cassette check box, N4 automatically clears the Has Wheels check box on the Properties tab. Likewise, if you clear the Has Wheels check box, N4 automatically selects the Cassette check box. |

Is IMDG "open" |
Select the check box if the equipment type is for open equipment and requires a stricter IMDG segregation. |

Is Temperature Controlled? |
Select the check box if temperature can be set for this equipment type. |

Stowage Restrictions |

No Overstow if Empty |
Select the check box if you cannot stow on top of this equipment type if the equipment is empty. |

No Overstow if Full |
Select the check box if you cannot stow on top of this equipment type if the equipment is full. |

Below Deck Only |
Select the check box if this equipment type must always be stowed below the deck. |

Above Deck Only |
Select the check box if this equipment type must always be stowed above the deck. |
